Central position, many possibilities

The Glögglhof is located in the wine village of Cornaiano, a harbour of the Appiano community. Our farm is centrally located only a 5-minute walk from the village square of Cornaiano.
The shops in Cornaiano are open from 7 am to 7 pm (grocery store, butchers, bakery, newsagent, etc.). In the village you'll also find a bank, hairdresser, restaurants, pizzerias and bars.

In the adjacent villages like Appiano or Caldaro there are more shops and the Sanvit bike shop, where you can rent bicycles and e-bikes. The cities of Bolzano and Merano are ideal for shopping, and can be easily reached within 20 or 30 minutes by car or with public transport.

Give your car a break and take advantage of the WinePass card, which grants free use of buses and trains in South Tyrol. The next bus stop is 200m from the farm, the next train station is Ponte d'Adige/Sigmundskron, only 4 km from our farm. The buses operate every hour, while trains leave every half hour. A detailed time table is available onsite.

Be it by car or bus, all the interested sights can be easily and quickly reached: the two Monticolo bathing lakes, Lake Caldaro, the tennis court in Rungg, and the golf course in Appiano are only a 10-minute drive from our apartments. The Messner Mountain Museum can even be reached on foot. The cycling trail passes directly by our farm.

 

The quickest route to our farm

Arrival by car:

coming from North or South on the A22 Brennero Motorway:

• Exit Bolzano Sud/Bozen Süd
• MeBo dual carriageway (SS38, direction of Merano)
• after the tunnel, take the Appiano/Eppan exit and then turn left in the direction of Frangarto/Bolzano/Cornaiano (SS42)
• At the roundabout take the first exit to Cornaiano
• At the start of Via Floriani in Cornaiano take the Via Naun/Naunweg, where you'll see the entry to our farm - Welcome!

coming from West (from Resia Pass) on the dual carriageway Merano-Bolzano MeBo (SS38):

• Take the Appiano/Eppan exit
• at the crossroad, turn right in the direction of Frangarto/Bolzano/Cornaiano (SS42)
• At the roundabout take the first exit to Cornaiano
• At the start of Via Floriani in Cornaiano take the Via Naun/Naunweg, where you'll see the entry to our farm - Welcome!

Arrival by train:

The closest train station is located in Ponte d'Adige/Sigmundskron or in the capital of Bolzano/Bozen. Visit the following website to plan your train journey.
